Used and New Jib Cranes
On October 11, 2013 by adminUsed and New Jib Cranes are an excellent solution to lifting and loading into lathes and other machines where the item being machined is simply too heavy to comfortably lift.
New Jib Cranes are ideal and always perfectly suited to the allocation, manufactured to the customers specifications, every crane can be adapted to suit. Before payment a drawing is submitted to ensure the buy is happy with all of the drawings and specifications. With every new crane you can get a new hoist, a new hoist will enable you to choose from manual travel to electric travel and if you prefer one fast speed or a fast and a slow speed for creeping. If budgets allow we always recommend new cranes.
Used Jib Cranes are specifically listed with your budgets in mind, priced as low as humanly possible, these jibs are sold as seen, some companies will offer to adjust the span or height but some model designs will not permit this. The hoist is usually complete with the crane and will feature all the standard features as the previous owner specified it. Many people buy a used jib and swap the hoist for a new one! Whichever decision you make each used Jib Crane is fully inspected, tested and certified before being delivered to you.
My thoughts are; always try for new jib cranes and play the dealer down on price, you never know where this might get you, after all you might run into a company that is struggling for business and is prepared to cut their profits for a thinner slice of the cake! Used cranes carry a storage fee many dealers wish to try and recover in the price, this makes movement slim to none in some instances.
